I was in heaven this week: I had my relatives visiting from out of town. I had not seen my sister, nieces and nephews in about six years (my, how times flies) and this reunion was long overdue. They left Friday morning. I miss them already.

Many of you may remember Rachel + Mutema from their previous engagement session and wedding posts. They recently became parents to the adorable dachshund, Ferdinand, and called lucky ole’ me to document his homecoming.

Well, not really. This little man IS my favorite! He is six years old and I cherish him dearly. Right before going on another birthday outing with the grands, I snapped a few images of my dear little one in all his plaid and superhero glory.
